Casa’s “Rendezvous at the Ranch”

Casa – Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children Held it’s 7th Annual Rendezvous at the Ranch.
Shutterbooth was proud to donate it’s services and also have the very generous guests donate to have their pictures taken in our Photobooth with over $300 extra dollars being raised!!
Nicolette Lynch and all of her volunteers did a awesome job!! The folks at Casa and all of the Businesses that donated sooo much to make this event a success…. not to mention the Guests. All have the biggest hearts in the world and if you know someone that was there you should let them know how special they are!!

A night under the stars…

Hey everyone! We just did a wedding in Los Gatos for Cheyenne and Daniel Neukomm and it was fabulous! What a great couple and a great venue! If any of you out there are interested in having a first class wedding outdoors, I highly recommend Allison Van Every and her team at Allison Weddings!

The venue was at Cheyenne’s parents’ residence and it was absolutely gorgeous! We set up two ShutterBooths in their yard, under the stars and the hemlocks. The weather could not have been more perfect and everyone had a great time!

Graduation Celebration at McDermont Field House!

We had great time with the recent grads from Exeter High School! Congratulations class of 2009!!! You are a great group of young adults and we wish you all the best! Thanks to everyone who welcomed us as part of your celebration at McDermont Field House!

We were also super impressed with McDermont Field House- what a venue! McDermont has over 172,000 sqft of fun indoor activities and space to run around- including California’s largest indoor laser tag center, a skate park, a surfing wave, and games galore! What an amazing transformation and idea that the folks in Lindsay pulled together with McDermont! Check it out for yourself here: McDermont Field House

ShutterBooth in the Mini Cooper!

Hi All, We just had to share… the ShutterBooth is amazing! We have successfully fit it into the Mini! This just proves what an amazing and transportable concept it is!

The Mini, is well… mini! The back seat folds down and easily accomodates the booth when its packaged for transport. We get questions all the time about how big do doors need to be to get our ShutterBooth into a particular venue, or do we need any special equipment (i.e. forklifts) to deliver our booth?? Nope, just a place to pull up a car and unload a small cart! We can easily fit through any normal doorway.

Did we mention we can fit the booth AND two people into the Mini?!

The Knot Vendor Networking Event!

We had a great time at the Knot’s networking event at the San Francisco Design Center this past week! Susanna at the Knot gave us a great opportunity to be a sponsor at their vendor appreciation event in the Bay area. We, of course, were really happy to be a part of their event!  The Knot offers a great service to brides-to-be and we are proud to be a part of their network. Bernadette gave a great presentation on the activities they launching in 2009. We’re going to get listed on some of their new regional sites ASAP!

Michelle from MB Wedding Designs was also great to work with. Her organization of the event was very professional and a great success! We look forward to working with Michelle and her team at future events in the Bay area!

We also want to say that the cupcakes from Cake Coquette were awesome!  Yum- red velvet cupcakes!!!

SLO’s Spectacular Spring Bridal Show, Madonna Inn, April 5th

SLO’s Spectacular Spring Bridal Show at the Madonna Inn & Expo was quite an event for local brides and we were so glad to meet so many great bride-to-be’s and so many of their fun friends! It was also a blast getting to booth next to Chris from Dolphin Bay, Flowers by Kim, and across from Jay from Got You Cover’d.

Whirlwind Weekend for ShutterBooth Central CA!

Our openning weekend, April 4th & 5th, was an exciting one! We were up in downtown San Francisco helping ShutterBooth Las Vegas host a big event for McCarthy Building Companies. Everyone was done up in awesome 60’s and 70’s costumes and they really went all out! We managed to get a record 15 hippies in the booth at the same time! The event lasted into the wee hours of the morning and we had two ShutterBooths running the whole time- definitely a great time was had by all- what a fun group of people!

The next day we were back in SLO setting up for the Spectacular Spring Bridal Show at the Madonna Inn! More to come…
